ED steps into ₹100 crore school-recognition fraud case against ex-minister Anbil Mahesh

The Enforcement Directorate has opened a money-laundering probe into the alleged ₹100 crore racket in which private schools were promised permanent recognition for cash. The case, first registered by the Chennai Central Crime Branch, names former school education minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi; he denies the charges and has moved the Madras High Court to quash the FIR.
